Q I am getting a General Protection Fault in APQT.VDR when using QuickTime for Windows. What would cause this?

A Seven out of ten GPFs are directly related to problems with the video card driver.

For example:

* The video driver or card does not handle palette changes well. (If you switch to thousands or millions of colors, this may help solve the problem.)

* To narrow down the problem, change the bit depths of the monitor.
